濁川温泉の中ではやや道を外れて奥まったところに位置する。
透明に近いお湯が他の場所とやや違う泉質を物語る。浴槽は２つあり、高温と中温になっている。
温泉が東に面しているので午前中は日の光が差し込み、さわやかな中での入浴が楽しめる。
なお、現在の名前は「天湯」と表記されているが、「天龍」でも通じる。
