とにかく熱い温泉で、高温・中温・低温とあるものの、中温で普通の温泉の高温くらいはゆうにある。
泉質は素晴らしく、湯量も豊富。設備こそ少々古く、露天風呂はないものの、それを補って余りある泉質。薄めも循環もしてないせいなので、その熱さもありがたい。
男湯は二部屋に分かれ、昔の女湯も男湯にしてしまったそうだ。その分、女湯はやや狭くなってしまった。家族風呂もある。
