函館の市街地に昔からあった銭湯のような温泉だったが、数年前に改装。最新設備を持つ温泉となり、人気。
お湯は一部循環だが、塩素殺菌方式ではなく、医療現場で使われるオゾン・紫外線式殺菌方式だそうだ。露天風呂はかけ流しとのこと（番台の姉さん談）だが、源泉かけ流しかは不明。
